Sterling has also failed to score in his last eight Chelsea appearances in all competitions. The Englishman's last goal came in the Champions League draw with Salzburg in September, also the first match that coach Graham Potter took charge of Chelsea.

Sterling made 79 appearances for England, scoring 19 goals. Sterling was named in the Euro 2020 squad of the year when he scored three goals in England's journey to the final.
However, Sterling has been dead in the last 5 matches with the Three Lions. Sterling is unlikely to be included in coach Southgate's plans when other attacking players in the England squad are making a better impression.
