Neville: "Harry Kane is the right target for MU this summer"

Gary Neville thinks next summer is the time when Harry Kane can leave Tottenham, and Man United should jump in this deal.

Kane is in impressive form at Tottenham this season. The Englishman scored 18 goals in 25 Premier League appearances. Kane has officially surpassed Jimmy Greaves to become the top scorer in Spurs history. But at the age of 29, Kane is still looking forward to lifting the first championship of his career.

Tottenham are struggling in the race for the top 4 in the Premier League and will face AC Milan in the second leg of the 1/8 round of the Champions League after losing 0-1 at the San Siro. The chance to win the FA Cup with Spurs ended midweek with a 0-1 defeat to Sheffield United. That means Spurs' 15-year streak of nothing will continue.

"Harry Kane will want to win the title," Neville told Sky Sports. “Like many players before him, Harry Kane is dedicated to Spurs out of love for the club. But if Kane wants to leave then I think now is the right time.

Kane is a great player, extremely professional. I think if he leaves the destination could be Manchester, United or City. I think he will take that opportunity.

Most likely not Man City because of Erling Haaland. Also because of what they did to him. But Man United are hungry for a striker. Manchester United are the only option in England for Harry Kane this summer. I think if Kane wants to win the title he will have to leave Tottenham."
