“He has a ligament injury. He felt better. Haaland won't play against Sevilla because we've progressed. Hopefully he can help us against Fulham. If not, he could play against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup (November 9).

Man City had to work very hard to beat Leicester with a score of 1-0. De Bruyne scored the only goal for Man City from the free kick.

Pep Guardiola also made comments on the difficult victory of The Citizens: "When they decided to attack, the game became more open. We sped up and they didn't adapt. The important thing is that we are not inhibited when we have problems in attack. The praise must be given to Leicester for what they have done, but we are not inhibited."

Pep Guardiola also praised his student De Bruyne: "He doesn't always create assists, or take free kicks. I know he has these abilities. He is not himself in recent games. He needs this aggressiveness, to move into different spaces. What more can I say about De Bruyne? Everyone knows him already."
