It is known that the 57-year-old strategist sat down with the Chairman. German Football Federation Bernd Neuendorf and Hans-Joachim Watzke in a meeting lasting two and a half hours.
In the end, it was all decided that Hansi Flick would continue in his position. In addition, the president of the German Football Federation, Mr. Neuendorf also confirmed his support for the former Bayern Munich coach in a public statement.
" We all believe that the 2024 European Championship in our country is a great opportunity for German football," he said.

Meanwhile, coach Hansi Flick is confident that his Germany team will learn from the pain in Qatar, thereby being ready to improve and look forward to Euro 2024:
"Me and my coaching staff are very optimistic about the European Championship in our country. Germany can absolutely do better in Qatar 2022. But the whole team missed a great opportunity there. We will learn the lesson."
Hansi Flick only led Germany in the summer of 2021, the 2022 World Cup saw the team eliminated for the second time in a row right from the group stage.
